DOBLE DIPLOMA

High school students (8th to 11th) from colleges and schools in Panama and Latin America who have a medium command of the English language who wish to complement their education with courses of their interest in asynchronous and flexible online format.

In total they are 5 to 6.5 academic credits, depending on the curriculum of the college or school where you study and the level of English you have. Five credits are equivalent to 5 subjects of one year duration. Courses can be one year (1 credit) or one semester (half credit) in length. A usual combination would be for example 3 courses of a whole year and 4 courses of a semester. Courses are selected by students from an extensive catalog of courses in the areas of English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education and Health, Fine Arts, Languages, and Electives.

• The student together with their learning coach select the courses to take and schedule them, after having made an evaluation of the academic program of the school where she studies. Programming can be as follows:
  • If you start in 8th year: One full-year course or two semester courses a year.
  • If you start in 9th year: One year-round course and one semester-long course each year.
  • If you start in 10th year: Two full-year courses each year or a combination of annual or semester courses.
  • If you start in 11th year: Two full-year courses and one semester course each year.
